How do you show a number to brain cells in a dish? The Biological Computing Company turned numbers into electrical signals, then trained a simple AI classifier on the neurons’ responses. Co-founder Alex Ksendzovsky explains how this early experiment produced about 10% higher classification accuracy compared with training the same classifier directly on the numbers themselves.
