It's the centrepiece of the AI revolution. AI giant Anthropic's upcoming IPO is expected to be the biggest-ever, with a valuation of $1.5 trillion. The maker of AI assistant Claude is yet to turn an annual profit, but it's asking the market for roughly $100 billion. Anthropic says it's tapping investors to build cloud computing infrastructure, AI training chips, and data centre capacity. Locally, investment bank Macquarie's managing the Australian leg of the float to give investors at home a slice of the pie. The roadshow is expected to kick-off late next week with Anthropic hitting the NASDAQ
