This week, the only two model drops we really saw came from the excellent Z.ai folks, they announced GLM 5.3, API only for now, and an amazing tiny release of Qwen 3.89 27B. In other big AI news, OpenAI announced they are pausing RL efforts (Reinforcement Learning) to focus on security and alignment post the scary AI Swarms hacking incident, dedicating up to 20% of compute towards reviewing agent thinking pr
