Kelsey Allen - Minds and Machines | Vector's AI Summit & Career Fair 2026

Explore the intersection of intuitive physics and generative AI with Dr. Kelsey Allen. Learn how cognitive science is solving physical reasoning in modern machine learning in her talk, "Minds and Machines: The Evolving Loop Between Cognitive Science and AI". Why This Matters: Generative video models can create visually stunning clips, but they frequently fail at basic physical realism—objects pass through walls or gravity behaves unpredictably. By studying how humans use mental simulation to solve novel physical problems, we can engineer better evaluation metrics for AI. Dr. Kelsey Allen explo
