GPT-6.1 Terra: half the price, fewer mistakes

OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Terra can use your apps: it reads a screen, then acts. Think of your computer as a post room, and Terra as a new clerk. Three things are new: 1. Sees and acts: visual reasoning and computer use in one model. 2. Fewer mistakes: on OpenAI's internal test of error-inducing prompts, the error rate at low reasoning effort fell from 53.6% with GPT-5.6 Terra to 16.7%. 3. Half the price, or less: $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output, against $2 and $12 for GPT-5.6 Terra. OpenAI also says it finishes tasks over three times faster than Sol and Astra. The limit: for the
